On the morning of December 21, 2022, International School held a workshop on the construction of school English website in IS conference room. All the International School faculty and staff attended the meeting, which was presided over by the Dean, Professor Shuze Tang.

        Professor Tang first emphasized the significant importance of English website on promotion and cultural construction of International School. He pointed out that appearance of the website shows school image like a business card, whose contents display high quality of International School. The IS English website plays an essential role as a channel for both international exchanging and education. Thus, all school members are responsible for the construction and improvement of the website. This project is a vital part of school construction and its workload is included in non-teaching workloads.

         Ms. Xiaoyu Lai gave a presentation on the progress of website construction during this semester, which focused on the design concept, style, features, basic framework, main columns and investment.

    Participants had a lively discussion on framework and column settings. Through brainstorming, school members selected colorful topics and approved column choosing. Finally, Professor Tang assigned tasks to staff members for content materials collection and edit. He emphasized the initiatives of team leaders in refining contents and strengthening coordination to ensure the school English website releasing as soon as possible.
